A Friendly Place To Train Your Dog

We were established in 1995 in the City of Chester and run a variety of classes to suit the abilities of the dog and the owner; these include Puppy Groups, Beginners Courses, Roll on – Roll off classes up to advanced level, Clicker Training, 1-1 Sessions, Home Visits, Rehabilitation Training, Deaf Dog Training and Specialist Workshops.

We can use our surroundings to our advantage; within a timescale of 3 mins we can access the canal with narrowboats, fishermen, Swans, Geese and Ducks, the Racecourse with regular meetings, The River Dee, the Roman Walls which are regularly walked by our classes and the City Centre which is buzzing with visitors at the weekend, by using what we have to hand, we train in the real world and not in a sterile indoor environment.

Our aim is to promote responsible dog ownership in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where we will show you how to teach your dog to Not pull on the lead, To return to you when called, To not steal your socks and to Not mug your visitors!!

We encourage owners to see things through their dog’s eyes, what makes them do the things they do? Classes are kept small so anyone struggling is noticed immediately and helped, the dogs are relaxed and we maintain the friendliness we are known for.

We do not use any harsh or confrontational methods but rely on reward based training; we are sensitive to the needs of the dogs and their owners and are constantly reviewing our training techniques to offer the best available service.
